Hi, im from california (LA/San diego) and planning to go on a road trip to AZ (pheonix?? not sure) with the gf in the 325i
any suggestions of what to do? and what to avoid thanks ! o and im 22 btw john |

Man, you picked a hell of a time to come to Phoenix. The weather sucks. Too hot and too humid. If I was you I would not even stop in PHX, but head north and check out the Grand Canyon. Spend the night in Sedona and take Highway 89A from Sedona to Flagstaff, awesome twisties. If you have to be in Phoenix, they have sweet rooms cheap at the Point Hilton Squaw Peak for around $89, and there is enough going on at night to get you in plenty of trouble, just depends what you're looking for! thanks for the headsup man
does anyone know how the I-8 is like (driving from california to AZ), is it right next to the desert and lots of rocks? Im debating if i should take the 3 or my other car (acura tl). Last time i drive the 3 to vegas i got crazy rock chips (dont have the clear bra). thanks! |

I-8 is pretty open and boring. Just watch out for photo radar vans. There's plenty to do here in Phx though. Just depends on what you're into; casinos, bars, clubs, shows, sports, resorts, golf, etc. there's something for almost anyone.
