They'll look tucked into the fender since they're only 8" wide, will need spacers to look good, especially in the rear.

what tire would work though?

225/40/18 255/35/18 is what i have now and I'd like to keep them (new set too pricey...)

I wouldn't put 255/35 tires on a 8" wheel, I'd go 225/40 all arould.

They'll fit, but it sounds like they won't look good, especially if they're only 8" wide (can't use a wide tire)
