Run flat tires and wheels?

Is it true that only Run flat tires can be mounted on 2006 BMW 325i (with sports package) wheels?
Currently I have run flat tires on the vehicle.
Do I need to change the wheels if I want to use Non Run flat tires?

Please clarify. Thanks in advance.

there is nothing special about the wheels for regular RFTs. you can mount non-RFTs on them, but keep in mind you dont have a spare or jack if you get a flat.

the only special kind of runflat sold today is the Michelin PAX system.

Yes they can. I have the 161 style wheels and just recently put on Vredesetin Ultrac Sessantas on, and they fit without any issue.

I believe the problem arises if you are trying to fit a RFT on a standard wheel, or if you are using Michelin (or Goodyear's?) special RFT solution with the internal doughnut, where the rim is radically different.

Garage List
buy a spare for a E60 f/ Tisher, it comes w/ a jack, etc.
it fits perfect w/ your E9x.
your ride will greatly improve w/ non RFT.

Thank you very much for all your opinions.
I was told by the dealer that I need to change my wheels if I want to go with non run flat tires since the wheels on the vehicle can fit only RFTs.

So I guess he was wrong.

front tire size is different than rear wheel size, Are you talking about the wheel itself or just the tires.
