Breyton Race GTS or VMR V710?

Looking to get new shoes for the E92 but torn between those two.

Most likely going with 19s, staggered, and matte black. I've seen multiple pics of the two but can't seem to make up my mind. Does anyone have any input on the quality of the two? Anything to be aware of between the two brands?

Feel free to post up any pics too, can't ever have too many pics of good looking BMWs on nice wheels! Mine is a silver E92.

Thanks

breytons by far..thats what i was going to get in black as well with a silver time attack ring but personally i like the look of a lip on wheels. Tons of people on this forum have the v710s, breytons you dont see quite as much.

I read your thread on the review of the V710s. Interesting as their finish seems to have tarnished with use.

KkSc - Do you have close up pics of your Breytons?

I have heard that the Breyton's tend be more on the fragile side. So if you have rough roads, lots of pot holes, probably not the wheel for you. I was considering them too, but I live in Philly, so no go.

I live in the suburbs of ATL, so its not too bad. Have to be weary when downtown ATL though.

I've been doing some searching, but hard to find pics of E92 silver cars. Anyone have matte Breytons/V710s on a silver E92?

I like the V710 spoke design better, they are thicker and give the car a more aggressive appearance IMO.

Doesn't seem like the Breytons come in matte finish either, black painted only. Hmmmm... At first I had the gloss look in mind, but I've leaned towards the flat black nowadays. Not sure about the matte grey on the silver car.

Jurrian/Nick - Can you PM me a price on the flat black V710s 19s, staggered (8.5/9.5) wheels only, and wheel/tire combo?

Correct me if I'm wrong please.

How much for wheel/tire package? Send me a PM!

Also, can't seem to get the V710 pics posted on your site to enlarge. Got a direct link?

breyton race GTS + pothole not even severe enough to bruise the tire:

gravity cast garbage. tire was totally fine. impact was where the scuff mark on the lip is, the wheel fell on its backside when changing to my spare. the bend itself isnt even that severe, but the barrel of the rim is cracked. same thing happened on another one of my rims before i just junked the whole set, that one the crack ran around the inside of the barrel more than half way around the rim.. again the tire was fine after inspection and reused. not even any evidence of a pinch.

VMR's are low pressure cast and dont use stupid light construction. my V715s have survived over a year in NYC, no major damage despite some pretty hard hits, harder even than the ones that destroyed the breytons. slight dent in one, but nothing major enough to even vibrate at speed.
