Will BBS RS-GT from e46 fit on e92?

I have a set of 19" BBS RS-GT that I used to run on my e46 330Ci. They're 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I don't know the offsets because I bought them used and the seller didn't know them. Looking at tirerack it appears that the offsets are +35 front and +40 rear. This happens to be the same offset as for e92 with the same bolt pattern. Can anybody confirm whether the same rims can be used for e92 and e46?

Also the tirerack page lists '(2) Required centering ring' for both e92 and e46. I never had them on e46 and never had any problems, so would they be required for e92? If so, why only 2 are needed for a set of four wheels?

They will fit your E92 no problems, but for them to look proper you will want to use an 8-10mm spacer in the rear. Im not sure about the centering rings part though.

Are they going to rub without the spacers or is it just going to look better with them? I'm running the stock sports suspension.

Also, am I going to be fine using the stock lugbolts (even with the spacers)? I never got a new set when I got the rims so I'm hoping that the length is not going to be an issue.

They will not rub without spacers. To install spacers you will need longer lug bolts. The general rule is old_length + spacer_thickness = new_length. I hope this helps.

Garage List
Get some spacers for these if you get them, pretty high offsets!

My friend took some pics. See http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=277651. This is without the spacers (and without TPMS).

IMO, the high offset doesn't really make it worth running.

Sure they'll fit, and you can space them out all you want but the low offsets create a fat lip (or concavity, depending on the wheel style).

Looks good to me, so I'll stick with this for now. I might get a set of spacers later on just to see what it looks like with them. Right now I just need to find a set of tire pressure monitors and a mobility kit in case I get a flat.

Follow up question...

I got a set of TPMS from TireRack. I went to a local shop to get them installed, but now my car drives like crap. Lots of vibrations even though the shop was using RoadForce balancing and assured me that the wheels were balanced. Ended up going to another shop that has balanced these wheels before (prior to having TPMS). They said that the wheels were out of balance and that they re-balanced them. The problem is that it didn't help, so I don't really know what the problem is. I know that it's not the wheel or tire issue because I drove with those wheels on for few weeks prior to installing TPMS and there were no issues. Any suggestions as to what might be the problem? Is it possible the the TPMS were installed incorrectly?
