DIY Clear corner's?

I read in another post someone got rid of the ugly Orange corner markers and changed them to clears, like the Euro models. Does anyone know how to do this?

look in the DIY forum Longtran did it and it was very involved and you really did have to hack up the housing to get the glue apart.

Something about putting my thousand dollar headlight in boiling water doesn't quite feel right.. I'll stick with my amber reflectors.

The boiling water was only for the blackline taillights and not the HID headlights. He used a heat gun for the headlights.

Where do I find the DIY thread for turning your E90 into a convertible using only a hacksaw and superglue?
