Wheel balancing

Hi

One of my rims is getting fixed for scratches. The place the will do the work does not have any equipment to balance the wheel. I was told that they will loosen up on side of tire ( tire will not be removed from the rim) and then after work is done the tire will be mounted back. None of the wights will be removed in the process. I was told that i will not need to re-balance the wheel. I just wanted to find out what you guys think. After the rim is fixed, should I take it somewhere else to make sure it is balanced or i am going to be OK.

I would have it balanced just i case. Nothing like a shaky steering wheel or vibration.

YES for sure it needs a rebalance, just do it, it's cheap.

I would recommend getting it re-balanced. Once the tire is debeaded and moved, the balance will be off. Try looking for a shop that does Road Force balancing for the best results.
