235/265 vs 245/275 on 19's
hey guys just wondering what's the pro's and cons?
seeing lots of people going 235/265 cause of rubbing? what's the difference thanks! |

the 245/275 are wider.

Not with proper tire sizing, it would be negligible.
OP the 245/275 combo is 10mm wider on each tire which increases the contact patch, but it also hurts MPG because of the added friction. There really isn't much of a difference when you're talking about 10mm in terms of traction. If it were a 205 vs. 245 that would be a different story. The 235/265 combo is better for lowered cars because they are a bit narrower and will allow more room in the wheel wells and will reduce the chances of rubbing.

Hi
I went with the 245/265 combi because it should get rid of some understeer I`m also running sport suspention and wheels are morr vs8, have a little rubbing with ful load from the rear, and rh front tire just tuches the inner faring when reversing while turning. But other than that realy an obtion worth considering too |
