Buying new rims for my 325i
Hi everyone I'm a new member here on the boards. I just bought a jet black/tan 2006 325i. I just debadged it and will take some picturse and post it up soon.
Well here's my deliemma. I'm looking to buy these rims. But I don't know what color to get. I was thinking the dark silver or the chrome. I need your advice on what color you think would look best on my car and if you think there are better looking rims for the price that I'm going to pay for these. I'd appreicate any advice and opinions. Thanx. |

Too much bling for my taste. Have you considered a classy CSL-type wheel or maybe the VMR V710?

Boo chrome.
Darker ones don't look bad. More of an OEM person myself though.

If you really like the style of that rim then ignore those who say to get others. If I had to choose, I would say away from both extremes. (Chrome and Black wheels). If you are interested in pursuing other alternatives, check out Velocity Motoring, Jlevi streetwerks and **********s. They have a good selection of various wheels . Most at reasonable prices with many BMW replica wheels.

Thnx DrGP I'll have to check those out. I'm not in a big hurry to get the rims. But when I do spend the money I want to be sure that's the one I want.
Thanx everyone for all your advice. Now for more researching. I'll let you guys know which ones I find and I'll post those up and see what you guys think of them. |

If you want OEM for less, look in the for sale sections here. All the nice styles pop up quite often, and they're really no more expensive than aftermarket. Most are in very good to near pristine condition.

Dont buy those wheels please, do yourself a favor and search a little. The lighter the better, the less shinier the better, and 360 degree perfect is awesome. Better yet make sure you get the right offset, if you dont your ride is going to look funny.
Well, its going to look funny anyway, unless you get it lowered. Good luck

all of those wheels look ugly. also don't go OEM wheels, if you like OEM wheels go with replica wheels since they fit better. if you want aftermarket look then go with something else other than that brand pictured.

I'm thinking about getting VB3 from VMR but I can't decide on on Silver, hyper black, or gunmetal. Anyone seen these rims hyper black on a black E90?
