what tires do you guys recommend for 06 325i

I am shopping for tires for 2006 BMW 325i with sports package. I don't want to go for Run flat tires, they are real noisy.
Any good non RFTs that you guys recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Go to tirerack.com, enter your model and wheel size, and take a look at the reviews. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 are very popular non-RFT (actually, I think they may even make a RFT version now). I think those are the OEM tires for the M3.

PS2's are great, Sun or Rain. My only advice would be to avoid Continental Contisports, they are mediocre.

Not daily driving. Sometimes I take it to autocross.

Get some Nitto NT-05 or Dunlop Z1s. Great tires that are perfect for occasional track usage.

If you autocross a few times a season, the PS2 and Goodyear F1 Asymmetric would both do well. If you're doing it more often and looking for a step up, I'd consider the Bridgestone RE-11 or Dunlop Sport Z1 Star Spec.

Iv personally driven on Bridgestone's previous RE01R and Z1 SS on the track and they both work amazingly for double duty. Other great tires to look into are the Nitto NT05, Toyo R1R, and Hankooks new RS3 tire.

That's three votes of confidence for the Z1's.
