cracking sound when turning

i have been experiencing and hearing some cracking sound from the front right wheel when i am turning. i am pretty sure the problem is not from the rims and tires. i know i am running a bit low on braking fluid and engine oil. could that be the reason to the strange sound? someone told me it i need to refill steering fluid too. please help me out if you have experience this before. thanks!!

I'm not a mechanic but I'd suspect the steering rack and suspension bushings.
