Question about bubble in tire sidewall
I discovered I have a fairly big bubble in my right rear tire sidewall. It is about 1" wide and bulges out a few millimeters (pretty noticeable). I have 1 month left on the lease then I am returning the car. Is the tire still safe to drive on or should I order a new tire? I have never had a bubble in the sidewall before so I want to know if it’s a safety issue or just cosmetic.
The tire is the Bridgestone RE505A regular (non runflat). Thank you.

Your tire is done. Replace it before you have a blowout.
BTW you can't return the car with a bubbled tire at the end of the lease anyways so might as well replace it now for safety.

Check out the for-sale sections of this and other forums and see if someone has a single matching tire for cheap. It would be lame to have to pay $250 or something for a brand new one. As long as one you buy has sufficient tread life, it'll do just fine.
