E90/92/93 M3 CF Carbon Fibre mirror covers
Selling a brand new set of CF mirror covers - they are real CF, VERY light and come with all instructions, roll of 3M tape, etc..
They are very very thin and fit the mirror snugly. However I would recommend fitting to a Grey or Black M3 as from certain angles you can see down the small gap where the mirror cap joins the mirror housing, and the original paint can be seen. This is why they were not fitted to my AW car (prob the worst colour to show this up) -on a dark coloured car this would be less evident, and on a grey/black be non existant as it would blend in with the CF weave on the mirror cover. I imported these from the USA and with duties etc cost over £130 - I would like £75 inc next day delivery via 'Inital City Link' Last edited by M3-FAST; 06-24-2009 at 04:00 AM.. |

just to say i have similar covers on my 335, they fit well and look superb and difficult to tell from being actual mirrors, one tip when fitting smear some silicon around the inside edge of the cover this seals it and gives better adhesion

I'd have these for my e90 but I don't have the M3 mirrors.... anyone know if these are possible/easy to retrofit?

I meant paint the inside of the carbon shells then fit them as normal and remove as required no paint on the car! Look like a nice mod by the way. |

It's not the inside of the shells that are a problem - it is just that you can see the edge of the white mirror housing underneath. On a black or grey car this would be un-noticeable but with the existing mirror cap being white it is more obvious. There is only a tiny bit showing and only when viewed from a certain angle but I am a bit fussy !!
