Picked up a set of 18" staggered 189s takeoffs from an '09(I think their really 287's) on Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's off Ebay.
The guy was local delivered the set up to me and I sold my 17" stock wheel takeoffs with 170 miles to him. I love the look and the handling! Somehow,I haven't had any TPMS alarm lights yet. My ugly 17" stock wheels and my new set up. I do take lousy pics, though. Last edited by Joeb427; 06-20-2009 at 11:36 AM.. |

Thanks guys, the Style 189 is one of the nicest wheels BMW offers.
Funny thing is on BMW's site, the '09 Sports Pkg option calls this wheel a Style 287. My wheel package is off a '09 w/Sports pkg. Sport Package $2,150 • 18" Light alloy wheels Star-spoke (Style287) with performance tires |

the style 287 are pretty much the same as 189 except the spokes are a little diff. in their shape 335 sedan gets 287 with sport pkg 335 coupe gets 189 with sport pkg

Those r not the Once that come with the 09 sedan sport, if you look close you will see that lug holes are on The spokes.
The ones you have are much nicer, the rears are more concave and the spokes are ticker. Congrats! |

I love the 189s. It was a close call between those and the 162s for me. Looks great on your car though, awesome choice!

The Ebay seller may be near you. He's in Westport. The guy works for BMW in some capacity and gets takeoffs from dealers.A super nice guy. My cost after giving him my 17" wheel setup with 170 miles was $1165. The staggered set of Potenza RE050A tires on Tire Rack are over $1400. The 189 wheel set discounted at Tischers was $1430 or so shipped,TPMS,tires already mounted and balanced.Free delivery because he wanted my wheel set up.He was only 60 miles from me.He even did the take off of my wheels and install of the 189s.. I feel I did well at $1165 and my 17" wheel set up.Never even got my hands dirty. Last edited by Joeb427; 06-21-2009 at 08:39 AM.. |

wow. Those do look good on the E90. I just sold mine from my E93 because I wanted 19" rims. I wondered what they would look like on the sedan. Very nice!
