TPMS programming

On a second set of tires with monitors,does the dealer service have to be program the TPMS to work properly?

no you can do it yourself....by submitting the TPS reports.

the truth, reset it yourself by looking for the tpms option on the on board computer then hit reset...i think you have to hold it down, check the manual

Thanks khaye,I'm looking at a set of 189s on tires mounted with TMPS off a E92.
I've read in a search here that the coupe has a different set TMPS wise than the sedan which doesn't sound right.
Is that true?
TPS reports?

you dont know TPS reports, seriously??? gotta watch office space my friend...the best movie ever.

i don't think it makes a difference. your tpms monitor basically establishes a new baseline everytime you reset it. try it, i purchased a set of tpms and popped them in a on a new set of wheels and didn't have any issues....not sure what car they came from though
