utah need help with speeding ticket

i was driving to denver, i got pulled over doing 92. my v1 went off and that son of a bitch caught me doing 92. is there a way i can fight the ticket? i think its bogus, since my radar went off and right away i slammed on my brakes. that jerk off was on the other side of highway 15. he busted a U and went after me. there was plenty of cars beside me on the road. is there anything i can do? this happen in beaver county. TIA.

You were speeding so pay the fine. There is nothing to fight here. You play you pay. What are you going to do, go to the judge and say hey my radar detector didn't warn me in time? Or every judges favorite "everyone else was speeding also why did he pull me over?" I have a buddy who is a Justice of the Peace and they do traffic court in AZ he loves that one.

Over the years I have received many tickets and got many warnings. I would never fight a ticket in which I was wrong. Personally I think speed laws are BS. Speeding in of itself is not unsafe. There are many other behaviors that cause accidents but our law enforcement community is too lazy to look for those behaviors and instead spend most of their time using radar to enforce arbitrary speed laws.

Beaver County Sherrifs are notorious for writing tickets. I hate to say it but I don't think there is much you can do.

Pretty much just pay the fine. 99% of our cops out there arent patrolling for "safety" they give tickets for the money.
