Most people are born confused.

Yeah, here in AZ we have a new law that says you can't have a plate bracket that covers the word "ARIZONA" because it may confuse people trying to get your plate info if you're fleeing the scene of a crime....seriously unbelievable

Well there was a police car riding my ass on my way to work but I didn't get pulled over. He definately ran my plate but I guess either thought it was funny or didn't care.

HAHA, I love the "DUHHH"
As for the law, they SAY it's because people get confused, but the real reason has to do with how the traffic cameras read the plate. It expects certain dimensions to be reflected back, and the plate can confuse it. Either that, or they needed an easy-to-break law in place so cops have an excuse to pull people over to check citizenship. Either way, it's not for safety, and thus shouldn't be a law. By the way, thanks for your service!
