Post 08 E92 AW M3: FS or Lease Assumption

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
As a casualty of the recession, I have to give up my beloved M3. The car is either for sale - buy out from BMW Financial or on a lease transfer.

Always garage kept, meticulously maintained and never driven in the winter.

Car is fully loaded save for the HD Radio.
  • Premium Pkg with extended bamboo beige & carbon leather trim
  • Cold Weather Pkg
  • Tech Pkg
  • Enhanced Prem. Sound
  • PDC
  • Pwr Rear Sunshade
  • 19" Rims
  • OEM Alarm
  • Lojack Enabled

Lease Specs - through BMW Financial:
  • 15K miles a year
  • $1000 a month
  • 29 months left on the lease
  • 17,010 miles driven since April 08

PM if interested - really have to unload the car ASAP.

+1, I'd be interested as well at a $~7000 incentive to assume the lease.

Buyout is $55,443. I'm willing to drop the price if I get a reasonable offer and I'll pay the difference

Considering your miles, $7k isnt that far off. If you were to straight sell your car i doubt you'd get more than 47 to $48k for it and you owe $54 so there is your $7k right there....

Exactly my reasoning. Also, have the tires been replaced? May need to be replaced by this winter given ~17k ($1500)...

OP PM me if you are willing to do 7k + transfer costs. What % tax does $1000/mo include? Are there any security deposits that are refunded to lease holder at end of term?
