Looking to order my first BMW, but need help.

Ok. So im looking to finally make the jump into my first BMW. Only problem was I couldn't find exactly what I want. So it looks like I might be ordering.

This is what I'm looking to get:
335xi coupe, 6-speed, in Space Grey over Coral Red
Premium Pkg
Sports Pkg (still thinking of getting the M sport pkg.)
Cold Weather Pkg
Nav
iPod adapter

MSRP- 52225
Invoice- 46720 (according to MSN autos)
First offer given to me- 51800
Second offer given to me- 49400
Third offer from the dealership my grandfather got his 328i at- 49100

I have an appointment on saturday. What can I say to bring these offers down closer to invoice? Are these offers BS? Are they because its going to be a custom order? If I don't order this weekend, do you guys think I have a shot at 0.9%?
Also, if someone can reccomend someone good to deal with in the NYC/LI area, that would be great. Thanks alot.

BMW sales were down around 35% last month. People on here seem to be getting deals closer to invoice than to MSRP. I was able to get $2500 below invoice with no haggling and that included destination fee, training fee, and maco. If there are other dealerships in the area try them.

2.5k below invoice is siiiiiiiiiiiick. at this point ill be happy with 500 over and extatic at just invoice. im going into that meeting tomorrow and im gonna say that i wanna make a deal and take advantaqge of the 0.9%. but im also gonna say shes gotta drop that price alot more. i sent out an email to all the dealers in my area. i was very blunt and to the point saying what i wanted and would want to see how close to the invoice they want to go.we'll see. hopfully good things tomorrow. ill let you guys know.

oops, I misspoke. I meant $2500 below MSRP...which was about $1500 above invoice.

I just looked up invoice on your specs and I came up with $48,040.

Invoice on my build was $48,430 plus the $180 training fee and $250 MACO.
I wound up paying $50,300...plus tax.

0.9 % financing more than offsets not getting invoice....my bank was offering 5.0 % financing. I figure i still save over $5000 by financing through BMW versus financing the car at invoice cost with my bank.

I ordered (Late May) a 335i @ $500 over invoice. Was told that I was getting the car @ basically zero profit but they matched a deal I got from one of the 'on-line brokers'. Not sure the amount of smoke blown in my direction but that's what I was told. This is the 4th BMW I've picked up from this same CA....that may have had something to do with it.

I think I've seen others get deals as good as $250 over invoice.

3 separate dealers offered me within hundreds of dollars of invoice last week. i went with the one that gave me the most for my trade-in. there's definitely tons of wiggle room. BMW sales were down 20% from last year comparing May 09 to May 08. It's all about your poker face. Go in expecting to pay x-amount (in this economy, i wouldn't pay more than 750$ over invoice) and be ready to leave if they don't give you what you want. There's some online dealer ordering cars at invoice for everyone. Do a search, and you'll find it in these forums. I think he's located in MD. A flight to MD is ~300 dollars from anywhere in the country, and you get to drive your BMW on a road trip home. That's assuming you have the time, and have no trade-in. I had a trade-in, otherwise, I would have order from that dealer.
