Scammed by Mikewarlover
Just an FYI for all of my fellow Canadians, I was scammed by Mikewarlover regarding the purchase of his black out grills. I know he frequented the regional "Canada" forum in the past and wanted to get the word out for everyone to avoid sending this goof any money for what he's selling so you don't have to go through the grief I did with paypal to get my cash back. What a total douchebag to scam ZPost members

Look at the classified section under the heading
"Part out feeler(RE diablo, grille, NEEZ )" Long and short of it, we PM'd regarding the sale, he accepted payment via paypal, then I never heard from him again. No responses to PM, board posting, or direct emails. He had logged onto the forum a bunch of times after I got worried and started posting my concerns. No response to paypal after I filed a dispute. Paypal decided in my favor and returned my money. In summary Mikewarlover is a dirt bag scammer, avoid him like the plague. |

I'm sorry to hear that daveysew. My only dealing with Mikewarlover was when I was trying to sell him my Morr rims, and he wanted to pay me via 2 separate paypal payments for some reason and wanted me to ship it to his "friend" up in Washington so that he could drive it back up to Vancouver. Something didn't seem right and I ended up selling it to someone local. I didn't think much of it at first but after hearing your story it looks like my initial impression of him was true.
On the bright side, at least you got your money back!

interestingly enough i thought this guy had over 1000 posts - not that means anything but he sure did wait a long time to scam ppl. why scam over cheap grills though but ship out an exhaust?

Yea I agree that it does seem odd that he would contribute so much to the forum before taking someone's money and running. He probably wasn't planning this all along, but since he recently sold his car, I think it's a case of him just not caring about his fellow Z enthusiasts anymore. Truly a sad case.

Funny you mention his high post count, it was one of the reasons I felt comfortable dealing with him. But it's pretty obvious he doesn't care about his former fellow forum mates as he still logs on but has nothing to say. At least he'll be having a harder time scamming people now.
