Sport Seats
Guys here is a toughy!
A guy back home bought an E90, but made the unforgivable mistake and bought the car with no sport seats. He got an unreal deal in this one, which he just couldn't miss. He now want the sport seats bad, an considering the money he saved by the deal the price should not be an issue. In realoem.com, I can see they cost $2,689.56 each, and the price should be ok (he saved 10k+), but, as I'm now living in Munich, where could I buy them? Or should the dealer only order them? Is there any place in Germany where I have any chance of finding them cheaper/used for him? Thanx guys! |

German eBay has them from time to time, but availability will depend on whether you're after a popular colour.

Ok, I checked the ebay here in germany and indeed I found a shop selling them. What I realized is, although my friend has heated seats, how is he going to provide power to the side bolsters? His current seats are not powered so he is opting for the non powered sport seats either, but the bolsters need some power.
I believe that there is no need for any weird kind of power, possibly 12volts or so, and since the heat modules for the seats need some wiring too, there is part of the harness there, and therefore he should just pass another cable for the bolsters. So, any more ideas-information on these topics? Anzbodz that has a multimeter that can measure the output that goes from the car to the bolsters? Thanx! |
