coming soon... a new DIY!

so as everyone knows my front passenger window got broken into.
today i bought the glass for 107 at BMW SF. in an effort to save $500 in labor, my friend who is an Audi tech at my work and i are going to install the new window.
we started tonight by taking off the door panel, and removing all the extra glass in the door.
i want to post pics... but my camera is at home in SF, and i am in palo alto, but i am going to try my best!
moving on... i have everything ready to go for tomorrow morning. we stopped because we lost all light, and were doing it at his place.
i am really thinking this is going to be pretty easy afterall, the only think i am worried about is making sure i put the new glass in nice and easy, and get it to clip in just right so it raises and lowers correctly.
ill give you guys the details tomorrow after i am done...
i think my next project is installing the rear door sun shades, since i am a total door panel removal expert now!

that sounds interesting.

If you want to install the in-door version, you will need new door panels and the shade.....this is quite expensive.

There is also another version that just clip onto the windows and it is much cheaper. (part no. 51460397334) This fits nicely
