Will Somebody Review the sDrive30i???

Gotta know how it sounds! I don't know if I expect a 3.0si-type sound or something else, but it's killing me to see all these 35i reviews!! Are they ashamed of the 30i or is it going to be an underrated treat for those of us who are of lesser means lol. Needless to say, I'm a member of the "lowly" 30i customers, but my car gets built around the 20th and I'm still stuck in Iraq! Somebody get in one and spin it around a bit and get back to me!!!

I drove both the 30i and 35i, the 30i has a nice deeper tone than the 08' 3.0si... but does not sound like the 35i with the twin turbos. To be honest if you have the manual 6 with it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

My little write up is on both cars are at this link: http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthre...=259920&page=2

Here's a link to a review of the 30i.

Also, here's a choice quote from the review...

"The new Z4 is still a lot of fun to drive; the combinations that we most appreciated are the base 30i and manual gearbox, which is the closest to the ‘classic roadster’ feel as it gets in the Z4, and the 35i optioned up with the dual-clutch automatic—though not the navigation system, which brings the dreaded iDrive controller (even though the interface is a bit better). Go with the 35i and dual-clutch transmission, and the Z4 feels like a sophisticated sports car that gives the Boxster and Cayman with Porsche’s new PDK gearbox a run for the money."

Seems as though I'm some sort of sooth-sayer! I asked for reviews and I get em! I've noticed some of the auto journals have started to publish reports on the 30i and they look pleasing, especially with the manual trans. Can't wait to get mine, or seeing as how it will be on the lot for a couple months before I'm able to come home and pick it up, Can't wait for mine to get me!
