front end protection for the track

i was given a roll of what looks like clear bra material that is about 2 to 2 and 1/2 feet wide that a guy says i should cover the entire front end of my car as well as the rockers with before the track. Are other people using this? Does it sound like the right product. Looks like big roll of seran rap but sticky on one side.

Clear bra material is ideal for the track. Keeps debris from damaging your car while going at 130mph+

But unless you have experience in applying it, I would not recommend doing it yourself.

it looks like that. it isnt actually. Its a stick on and peel off after im done sort of thing is what they told me?

Sounds great - it's either a product like that or you'll have to drive backwards to protect the nose. Mine has two dings already.

its used to protect carpet during a remodel. I saw a guy try it in a rented corvette. as far as I know it didnt peel off the paint. its a temporary fix for the track only .

thats what im looking for. so no risk of paint damage. not worth protecting from chips if it take its all off instead?

I've seen the stuff used, it's a good idea however it looks sorta rough, but not as bad as a blue tape wrap

okay sounds good. dont care about the look just that it helps protect the front end for the day.

just put this on for my first track day tomorrow. what a pain. looks cruddy but guess thats not really the point. supposed to rain tomorrow which i was hoping not but oh well.
