Anybody want to replace your spark plugs?

I'm looking to replace spark plugs myself after seeing couple members' banged up spark plugs @ 30k miles. The thing is it requires special socket and also local stealership is charging anywhere between 24.99 to 29.99 (yes i've been to all three dealers). Tischer is offering 17.06 + shipping and before i order, i would like to see if anyone else is interested. also trying to see if anyone has done it or have socket...

at the dealer they come out to $160~$190 for the parts and 1 hours labour so it's around $330ish range for the job but if i can get a socket, i can either do it or give my friend's mechanic shop a shot to do it... i'm not really willing to pay $330+ for spark plugs change...

anyways, i know joe was mentioning about the socket and tuan mentioning he's having trouble on sprak plugs so if you guys want it, i can just order whole bunch so we can save some on shipping. otherwise, i'll be ordering this by this weekend.

You might consider ordering the Bosch plugs somewhere other then a BMW stealership. Google ZGR6STE2 and you find many outlets have them in the $10ea range. I found them at clubplug.net for $10.64.

As for the socket, I have no idea. Can you explain what makes it special. Is it deeper then normal?
