Conficker Virus

For all my non-techy friends out there that worry about the possibility of being infected with that Conficker worm that you've been hearing on the news recently, go to this website to see if you might be infected. A lot of virus scanners couldn't detect it.

It's legit ...I did it yesterday after seeing Yahoo's story.
The result came out clean as a whistle

It doesn't affect Macs.

Yes. This worm is Windows only. That's not to say that Mac users don't have to be worried about malware though.

Mac OS market share isn't even over 10% yet. It did grow a whopping 32% in 2008, from 7.3% to 9.7%. Yippee!

So yeah, appears that people are still buying PCs 9 to 1 over Macs...
