335xi Jolts forward at light when cold

My 08' 335xi coupe jolts forward when i let my foot off the brake when engine is cold. If I put the trans in manual mode it does not does jolt.
I had the car in for service. BMW service downloarded software but the car continues to jolt forward in automatic mode. Anyone having this similar problem ?

Mine does the same but goes away after a couple minutes in city driving, so I attributed it to my brakes initially being cold and sticky. I don't remember if it happens in the summer (as much) or if sport mode changes things...

Just got the car back for the exact same problem. Will let you know as it wasn't cold when I drove it home.

Did your invoice say something about "EGS SOFTWARE ERRORS"? That is what mine says as the reason they downloaded new software, (if this would help you any.)

I tried it out late this morning. Seems to be working well. (I had to go return their battery charger.)

jerky start for me as well. I do regret not getting a manual at times but everytime i'm stuck in traffic that feeling goes away.

I had someone print out that bulletin and try to get me to use it for their sticky brake problem. Only problem was that they have a 2006 330i. Different engine, different trans, different production date, and different problem...
Just make sure that if you bring in a bulletin, that it actually applies to your car and problem.
