Who else watched Fast and Furious Last Night?

So I watched Fast and Furious last night and I have to say for what it is (an Vin-Diesel action flick with "10 second cars" thrown in the mix) it was not too bad of a movie. There was some sort of plot (very similar to the 2F2F and as always some good appearances by some decent cars: R34 Skyline, Charger, Chevelle.

The most annoying part was the type of crowd it draws. I thought when I left Cali I left the ricer scene but I guess not. For some reason the theater thought it would be cool to have some Civics and Eclipses parked on the sidewalk taking up my walking space not to mention all the kids walking around oogling the cars. It will just be a matter of time now when a kid in a Civic revs at me at a light. O well what you going to do.

To anyone else who went out and watched it post your thoughts on the movie here. No need to hide, just because you drive a BMW doesn't make you too good to check out Fast and Furious.

Haven't watched more than a couple minutes of any of them. I end up loosing my power to beileve in what I am watching so fast it just seems like a comedy. Transformers as a factual historical film is more believable so I choose to ignore and watch good car movies.

i saw it last night. i was both impressed and disappointed. i was disappointed b/c it was almost too serious a movie to poke fun at like all the ones before it (not as many unrealistic scenes, not as many corny lines, etc). on the other hand, i was quite impressed with the fact that the plot was not nearly as boring as some of the previous movie plots were. i was also disappointed that they didn't bring back the Supra like they did Vin Diesel, riced out or not...of course i'm a little biased.

its called suspending reality. that's literally half the entertainment value of these flicks - being able to laugh histerically at all the impossible shit and corny-as-hell lines you see and hear in the movie.

don't worry man...from what i understand, they didn't ruin an e39 M5. they just took an e39 5-series and added up-side-down e60 fender gills to it...so they didn't wreck anything special, let alone an ///M car lol.

It was a pretty good movie. What made it great for me was me and my friends. We were making fun of the ricers the whole time

"Ask any Racer, any real racer...."

I watched it yesterday and thought it was much better than any of the old ones.

well, the production crew actually made 9 of those fake M5, and when they wrapped shooting, only 2 survived.

wrong mirriors, wrong exhaust, wrong dash, vents on it which the E39 M5 does not have vents, too thin of tires... they butchered it..

Do we consider BMWs and Porsches as imports as well?

And I still think the very first one F & F is the best.
