I have heard and read your brakes do not cool properly with Kleen Wheels or similar products. I have never tried them.

Awful idea because it will cause your brakes to overheat, and your wheels will look terrible with that behind them...

do not even think about it. Just clean you wheels every other day like I do.

it's a sweet way to warp your rotors if you're trying to get new brakes

make sure you remove them before heading to the dealer though, or you'll void your warranty on brakes

i dont think it will overheat your brakes. thats why we have air vents in the front for the brakes. but i just think its a waste of money for this.

Smile

plus, i just can't image actually wanting to add rotational weight.

i think part of the fun of owning a German automobile is the challenge of keeping the wheels clean. I often find myself looking at other BMW, MB, Audi and noticing how the owner lets the black brake dust crud build up.

some people should get thrown in jail for lack of pride in their detailing

If you ever saw a vehicle with these installed, you would not even consider them!! As for overheating, I doubt you would in normal street use. But truly, they are hideous!
