I'll be doing April 4th and 5th (Poconos North) with PCA and April 9th and 10th (NJMP Thunderbolt/Lightning) with PCA as well. PCA usually doesn't allow other marques but I guess the economy has made a difference even for this. Some of their events are priced right if you can get in. After that i'll be looking for some BMW CCA events and PDA which I use to run with before. Hope to see some of you guys on the track. Will be nice to see what our cars can do.

There's plenty of room left at the NJBMWCCA events - including April 2 & 3 at Summit Point. It's 4 hours from Jersey, but a great track in a beautiful area. We have rooms at the Comfort Suites in Martinsburg for $65 a night, so it's not too expensive.
The May one day school at Lime Rock also has spots left. The CCA has a great group of true Bimmerheads - come join us! |

[I'm assuming your talking about Porsche Club of America? I wish one of those NJMP days was on a weekend, might be able to finagle another day off & go to one of them if they allow me or I could bring the P-car out do they allow Verts?
I am. I am running my M3 there. Some of the PCA clubs do allow other brands. Not sure about verts. |

I'm instructing again this season with COM Sports Car Club, http://www.comscc.org/
COM runs great, unique events; HPDE on day 1 and Time Trials on day 2. The instruction is excellent and you get 80+ minutes of track time on day 1, and 50+ mins of practice on day 2, plus the time trial, and usually some open track afterwards. Registration for NHMS 1 is open for April 4 and April 5, as well as Watkins Glen on April 20 and 21. April 4 & 5 Saturday-Sunday NHMS April 20 & 21 Monday-Tuesday Watkins Glen June 8 & 9 Monday-Tuesday Mont Tremblant July 7 & 8 Tuesday-Wednesday NHMS August 1 & 2 Saturday-Sunday NHMS September 23 & 24 Wednesday-Thursday NHMS October 31 & November 1 Saturday-Sunday NHMS There are a wide variety of cars that run the events; BMWs, Porsches, Lotus', Ariel, Cobras, open wheeled cars, Miatas, Subarus, etc, and the folks who attend are very down to earth. |

Wish there were more weekend events at NJMP this year, but it looks like the bike clubs are taking over most of the weekends. As of right now I plan on signing up for the 3 day school with the NJ BMWCCA chapter at njmp for 8/21-8/23.

I'm going to PDA's instructor school this weekend (3/28) at Pocono North. After that, I'll probably be at the LRP and Pocono days for the season. I'm going to try to get to NJMP and my favorite...Watkins!!!...this summer.
Be good, TomK

Hello
Track Time 4 Cars is a nice club. It is run 50% w/motorcycles. its not as much an HPDE as it is open track. You get 8 20 minute sessions throughout the day since there are no classroom sessions or instructors - more track time. 4 sessions in the morning, 4 in the afternoon. There are 16 sessions total, as you alternate (car / moto / car /moto / car/ moto/car/moto) thorughout the day. Its nice There are a few track events coming up. I would definitely sign up for www.mytrackschedule.com Here is mine My Track Schedule Quote:
