PIC's now posted.
Finally got my GB Volk LE37t's on Monday. For some reason, I thought they would have a bigger rear lip..but they don't. Here's what I got: 19" 8.5 Front +30mm, 235/35/19 GS-D3's 19" 9.5 Rear +30mm, 275/30/19 GS-D3's

No spacers. Straight up perfect fitment from what I can tell. I'll run home and takes pics during lunch.

D, I couldn't not wait for the silver LE's to come in. We have a damn short summer in Wiscy, so I asked Dave to substitute the Gloss Blacks instead since they were in stock. 2 hours guys and Pic's will be up.

I can't wait to see HRC's LE's. I still like the silver LE's more, but I just couldn't wait for them. The GB's look a bit more "ricey", but I still love them. The car looks very different now. Amazing how a set of wheels can transform a car.

At least they're light. You should experience an improvement in cornering. What are they, 18 pounds?

Right on, those look sweet!
3 questions though: 1. What's the bolt pattern on them? 5-120? I was looking around online & coudln't find any with that pattern. 2. Do you need hubcentric rings or any other mounting hardware, or did they bolt up with the stock lug nuts OK? 3. Have you had any rubbing or anything? ENJOY! |

Danny,
I decided against the sticker decals. Suspension: The ride comfort is actually better than I thought it would be. Compared to my e46 coupe with 18" AR1's, the comfort going over bumps is much much better. I still would try to miss pot holes and slow down for uneven train tracks though. Steering: The feedback while steering is definately "heavier." I guess you could say there's more feedback from the road via the bigger tires. Definately a Plus on my scorecard. Cornering is awesome! Acceleration: To me the car seems slower from an acceleration stand point. Even though the wheels are a few pounds lighter, the tires (with air) really make up the difference and the rotational mass seems greater. The 275 rears don't help much for acceleration either. Cruising is super nice though..very very solid! I would stick with 18" if your after speed! Looks: Very solid fitment. I wish the lips where bigger in the rear, but fittment is perfect.

2. No rings are needed, these are hubcentric rims. 3. No rubbing at all bro. (whoops, check his reply below, sorry!) Danny

Yeah, you're right Danny, the GB would look strange on Arctic. The look great when rolling though. I had my wife drive them while I followed and gawked for a couple miles...just beautiful i tell ya. The only rubbing issue I had was when yesterday when I hit a decent bump. I had 3 people in my car and 3 golf bags in the trunk. Otherwise, I have had zero rubbing issues, even while making U turns. Hurry up and get your shit Danny. Can't wait to see your Silvers baby!

Yea, these rims do not have FAT lips! Rear is 2.5 and front is 1.5. I don't mind, as long as the face is concave and not flat, it's all
Danny
