You are all wrong... Its piano black trim. It was an bmw individual option, and it looks like it might be a european option...

You're wrong too. It's option 4AT(black high gloss trim), standard with all leather upholstery in Germany. It costs 100 Euros for other upholstery; pianoblack from BMW Individual for the E90 costs 500 Euros .

Sure, but until now there are no BMW Individual options for the E92 announced.
I just wanted to point out the price difference between high gloss black and pianoblack.
Option 4AT(black high gloss) for the E92 is mentioned/shown in post

So based on this, then we in the US should be able to order black high gloss from our parts departments and install it?

Maybe. I don't know. It's not orderable for a new car in the USA.

I figured since it wasn't an Individual option we might be able to.

Do you happen to know the part #'s for it?

The E92 isn't listed on realoem.com yet. I wanted to ask my parts guy tomorrow to see if he can order them.

I don't know the parts #. I'm waiting for the delivery of the Official E92 Accessories Brochure by BMW AG Germany. Maybe there is a part #.
But I don't know if they will offer black high gloss trim as an accessory.

it may or may not be part of the accessory giude. but since its not part of the individual program I would think that someone could order it. I know for sure that its going to be near the top of my cosmetic mod list.

It is very hard to order a indivudual part because they require the car's VIN in order to make the order.

I love the Black Piano Trim and would get it for my future BMW if I have the extra cash.
