New to Cary, NC

Hi all,

I want to say Hi to everyone here. I am moving from suburbs of detroit to Cary,NC shortly. This is my first move ever I am excited and a touch nervous.

I have been enjoying and modding my 135i over the last 1yr Can anyone give me a heads up for a reasonable and reliable shop to mod my 1er around cary and raleigh? Would like to make friends with fellow 1ers around here

shame, I just moved from cary. I hope you have gps. Cary does not allow businesses to use signs on the streets so you have to know where your going. another bad thing is the bmw dealership is in north raleigh off capital which is a pain. If you would like i could ask some friends where they get their cars worked on. They don't have bmw's though, but i would still ask. the bonus is the roads are really nice down there! so enjoy!

Welcome to the Triangle. I don't have a 1-series yet, but am doing ED in May to pick up my AW 135.

I talked to these guys recently at an autoshow, now sure if they're good or not, but in a good location within Cary itself. They did have a nice modded M5 at their booth....

Coworker has had good luck with the service dept at Leith BMW on Capitol Blvd in Raleigh, but it's a bit out of the way if you're coming from Cary.

Good luck with the move.

since you're on the west side of Raleigh jump on I-40 and go to Korman's in Greensboro.
