Either there are a lot of leftover e46 coupes on lots in this country or BMW is playing chess(or playing Chicken) with the competition.

Newsflash --- BMW has just released an announcement stating that they will now scrap the 335i car because they can't come to an agreement on pricing.

In other news they've decided to give away all remaining 330i coupes to make room for and I quote BMW NA "way cooler QUAD turbo v-12 known internally as 1212" ... Price to be announced.

You can wait for it instead if you'd like, but at that point there is a rumored M12 coming out with 5 turbos ..... it will be about $10,000 more though, so do you wait or not ... that is the question.

U.S. prices almost always come out before that time...
...especially in the case of the E92 which has started production a bit earlier.

I just put down a deposit on the M12...SG w/Terra..instead of iDrive, it has pDrive which allows you to go on long trips without stopping.

Heres a qoute from my CA that I took from his last email a few days ago... "BTW. The inofficial pricing was announced to start for the 335ci just around
40G. So with the options you had picked you will probably go close to 50G."

I asked for pretty much all the options...JB, SP, PP, NAV, PDC, HS, AS, CA

my personal feeling is it's going to fill the gap of the departing E46 M3 pricing where it'll start around 40ish and top off in the low 50's is my guess. So imagine where the E92 M3 is going to be?

I was gonna start a thread about this. I thought I read somewhere that Brochures are coming the end of june and prices will be released in August or is it the other way around? I called a dealer today and asked for brochure and they told me it'd be released late summer. Im just sooo goddamn impatient...

At the BMW CCA meeting with all the BMW head honchos (Larry Koch, Ken Bracht, etc), they said they expect prices out by the end of June. Maybe they were pulling our leg.
