Ceramic Tint shops in Phoenix
Hi guys,
I'll be moving to the phoenix area (gilbert) next month and definitely want to get my car tinted with some 25-30% ceramic (either huper optic or pinnacle) tint. Any of you guys have any recommendations on good shops in the area that will do a quality install at a good price? thanks! |

Bump -- just moved to Gilbert myself, haven't tinted the car yet!

I'm looking for ceramic tint as well - found one guy who does a good job, but he works with metallic film. Not sure I wanna get that.

Yeah... since my car has nav, ca, and a radar detector plus with the extra heat rejection ceramic seems the way to go.
Unfortunately many tint shops brush them off as being overpriced, thus being why they don't carry them. |

Found a few places in Arizona that work with Formula 1 Pinnacle (their ceramic film). Places in Phoenix seem to be a bit pricey, so I'll likely be driving down to Tucson to have it done. The price difference offsets the gas and hour drive.
dchen2, when do you get out here? Maybe we could make the trip down and get ours done at the same time.

haha, I was thinking in terms of a price break. I may also have my daily-driver Civic tinted at the same time. Bring in 3 cars at once, you have a bit more leverage in negotiating price.

I'll be arriving in Phoenix with my newly delivered 08 M3 sedan around March 15th. On my current 08 335xi coupe (the lease of which is being assumed by another person this week) has the normal 3M color stable non-metallic tint 30% which I am happy with. Looks good and I haven't noticed any problems with CA/nav/radar interference. However, the extra heat rejection of the ceramic will come in handy in Phoenix since AZ is a much warmer place than WI is. |

Phoenix is a joke. The one place that ceramic REALLY makes sense. I tried a year ago and almost no one carries it. The one place that did is only open during week day business hours and is not near my work, so that wasn't going to happen. I ended up getting regular tint at the dealer on special since the car goes back in a few months anyway. I had ceramic put on my fiancés car when we drove back to LA to see friends. I do notice a big difference between the two cars, especially when it really heats up. Good luck.
