Hello My Name Is Des, And Im Glad To Be Here.
ive looked at a few forums lately and like this one the most.
ive always liked the idea of owning a BMW but never found the time or money.
my father bought a 1995 318i about a year ago and i caught the fever.
well i looked at pre owned for a while and for what i wantad in a car it was around 20000 to 25000. so my wife and i started looking at new, keeping in mind im a welder by trade who has worked his way up in a company to a level where my living is comfortable but still middle class.
so my wife laughs and tells me if i can come up with half the cost she would go for it.
well my company put me on 7 days a week 14 hrs a day for the next 5 months after the big storm we hade here.
$21000 latter she and i were in houston buying a new 325i alpine white e90 sedan prem. packeg, xenons the whole 9.
well i love it to say the least. its like drivable sex.
ive slowed down at work and we or going to sanantonio 6/23/06 for a few days to get away .
needless to say im looking forward to the 6hr drive it will take to get there.

my wife went today and bought a hood bra for the trip.
i cant seam to drive more than 50 miles without some sort of road rash to any new car we have ever owned.
and chrome tips for muffler.
im looking at a new set of 18" type 5 beryn wheels.
i like the open look of the wheel.

Welcome! Love San Antonio and the riverwalk! Be careful with the nose bra and debris catching underneath it. Can rub the clearcoat and mess it up if there is dirt. You have to take it off all the time and clean the hood. Might I suggest a clear bra and you will never have to worry about taking it off and messing with it. Check out www.xpel.com. You should thank God you're a welder. If you were a desk jockey like a bunch of us, you'd be close to being fired for the number of hours you'd spend at work refreshing this damn website.
