Le Mans Blue and factory M-Sport Kit: ... yep, probably never.

But I hear BMW NA will be asking BMW AG for more cup holders and juice box holders....and compulsory auto transmissio all US cars....and softer suspension ... and well you got the idea

I'm really surprise that when you order your E90 you cant order any of the colors that's on their palette...hell Audi allows you to do it for an additional fee.

From what I know, custom colors and colors from BMW Individual pallette is indeed and probably possible at the right price (very very hefty), but there is a major obstacle in getting Le Mans blue which belongs to BMW Motorsports (seperate entity from BMW AG). Traditionally only M cars and Factory M-Sport or M-package cars have access to BMW Motorsports colors.

Bmw offers Le Mans Blue with their X5 4.8is model.

When I was picking up my 4.8is I asked for one in Le Mans Blue but none were in the S.FLA region...

Yep, the 4.8is is a niche X5 model blessed by BMW Motorsports, its BMW take on an M version of the X5 and a response to Mercedes' ML55.

You will not see it on a US spec non-M E90. You MIGHT be able to special order it for a little more than $2k. The problem is getting the dealership and BMWNA to agree to order the car. If you can do all that, go for it...

In Europe, those msport cars are our equivalent of the M car. Taxes are much higher there, and those cars are the cost equivalent of our M's... Thats why they have access to the colors and we dont...

Rumors have it that the X5 might be taking on a variant of the M5/6 V10. The new models will certainly be 3.0 and 4.8, but possibly also having a model above the 4.8... I would not complain at all about that SUV

Actually, they did have a prototype X5 running a Le Mans V12 engine blazing around the Nurburgring. Not sure if that was to be the basis for a rolling mule on which to test/develop the M5/M6's 5.0l V10. The concept/prototype was called X5 Le Mans.
