RE01R, Z1 SS, R1R, AD07 are all in the same league as far as grip for street tires. Z1 SS is probably the best bang for the buck right now. Nitto just released there new compound called NT05 which is also a street/track tire you might want to look into.

I have GY Asymmetric F1s. They are fantastic on the road and the track. They held up great over the track days and in the wet they are fantastic.
Star Specs are a great tire for the money. Maybe a little cheaper than some of the others too.

i have the re-01's on my S2000 and by far the best tires I have ever had and I am not basing this off of grip either. The ride is very smooth and not too bouncy well at least not on my s2k. I 225/40/18s and 255/35/18's so they are the same size as the bmw sport wheels.

Definitely either the RE01Rs or the Dunlops.
The PS2 is a great tire and is certainly track capable, but at the track the sidewalls are a bit soft and you will get a lot of outside edge tire wear, especially on the front with stock sport suspension. It's a pretty expensive tire to be wearing out like that.

+1 GY AF1. I'm a huge PS2 fan. Never thought I'd buy anything else. But the Rack was having a great sale and GY was offering multiple rebates. No regrets.

I just ordered the new Nitto NT05's (from discount tire) for the summer and I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing.
245/35/19 $187 275/30/19 $259 The wear rating is decent too, 200, which is higher than the stock 140 so hopefully they last the whole summer and a couple track days!

Out of the choices the REO1R are the tires with the most grip.Dont expect any more than 15k miles of hard use though.15k is being conservative.
