H&R springs

Has anybody install the H&R 1.3front 1.2Back Spring set on the new E90 without the S/P. I just got the set today, but i dont know should i wait for aftermarket shocks or can i just install now and get shocks later. Does anybody know if the ride is bad or rough without aftermarket shocks. and how long does the shocks lasts for.

If you're planning on getting aftermarket shocks to match with your H&R springs pretty soon, then just wait, or you'll have to pay labor fees again when you install your shocks. The stock shock life will be shortened by using lowering springs, but we're not talking by like half its original life or anything, might be by a few thousand miles.

well yes it's true that i should put aftermarket shocks with the H&R springs, but I cant find any. I looked everywhere. I called all the companys and they told me nothin either. Also i have my wheels already. So i dont know what to do. I just want to make sure my ride is not going to be rough if i put on the springs with oem shocks and 18x8.5 wheels.

maybe you can ask weytie or wormit how their ride quality has been. I think both have upgraded to H&R springs without changing their shocks. Here are their threads
