Which Bank to get Morgage from?

Which bank should I get my morgage from? Any good suggestions? What are the things that I should consider to compare from bank to bank?

Mortgage*

First you need to find out how much your putting down, your PITI on the property after its value, etc. Then find the lowest FIXED APR

PS- Oh, and penalties for paying more ahead of time, and how much of a grace period you have for late payments. Not that your going to pay late, but the economy sucks so why not ask.

You should get your mortgage from the bank that is offering the lowest fixed rate. Does that answer what you are asking?

We have Huntington Bank. Not sure if that would be available by you or not? But they have been great to work with and have had very low rates recently.

bankrate.com or rates.com. Just go directly to a bank like B of A or Well Fargo.

no. he is better off going to somebody that has a lot of different banks because is this case, very few bank will lend on something like that. You have to get the financials, a coop questionaire, for most banks there has to be a certain % OO.

he wants some bs loan didn't say anything about being stated. with coops the building is just as important as the borrower. the building has to be on the approved list for the bank and usually has to be high rise... stated loans in NJ=hudson city and some Chinese banks do stated loans or just did.. if you want I can find out for you for a fee...

gotcha, i was just curious because on your original reply you stated something about getting financials, which is pretty standard for full doc loans, so i assumed you meant stated deal...but yes, i agree the building is definitely an important part in coop deals...luckily i don't have to deal with that over here on the west as much...thanks for the offer i think i'm okay.

off topic: for the brokers out there...are you able to beat B of A's retail no cost PLUS program and still make a dollar? (for those who qualify of course)
