Dumm Question-Help with AC

Hi Guy,

Does anyone know why there is a dial between the two AC vents.
One side turns to blue(Cold) and one side to Red(hotter)???
I thought with the automatic climate control, all you need to do
is adjust the temperature digitally. What is the purpose of it???

You can adjust the setting of the middle vents to be slightly colder or warmer than the vents on top of the dashboard and the ones by the feet area

Research has always shown its best to have slightly cooler air blowing at your face and warmer air at your feet, to keep the best concentration levels on the road

The knob lets you finetune what you want blowing out the top vents

Smile

On a cool fall day with strong sun it works great to run some warmer air on your feet and cooller air at chest level.

How do you turn the upper (the ones on top of the dash, not the ones with the dial) off?!? They drive me nuts!
