Will there be a new E91 this year, please do tell?
I read this board religiously multiple times a day, and am always looking for some hint of what's coming with the new E91...but each day nothing. Does anyony have any information on the following:
E91 328i Sports Wagon NO X-drive, only rearwheel drive Proper Sports Package (suspension, etc.) Will this be available this year? We currently own a E46 325i Sports Wagon, but the lease ran out last September, so I had no choice but to buy the car. I really do NOT want an SUV, have to get a wagon, I need to have manual transmission, do not need X-drive and am eagerly waiting for the 325i or 328i. It seems that my only solution is to move to Germany where the sell everything I want! I would prefer a 330i wagon, or even better a 335i wagon, or even better a M3 wagon! Oh well, enough dreaming. I know a lot of people speculate of what's being release, I was just coming to get some hint of what I can expect....please oh please do not make me buy a E55 Mercedes Wagon, or a S4 Audi Wagon, although a E62 Mercedes Wagon, or a RS4 Audi sound tempting......although I know that they're definitely not releasing the RS4 wagon in the US. And please do not try to talk me out of a wagon....that's a given, I already have other toys for the fun driving, I need something for the day-to-day utility. Thanks guys and keep up the great work. |

I'm a Touring nut too. Wouldn't dream of talking you out of one.
I asked the same question and greginaz confirmed that the production schedule for MY2007 includes a 328iT for the US. Production will start in September 06. We'll most likely see it too up here in Canada. Hope. Hope. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...t=22241&page=6 Alas, no 335iT, but I wanted a 330iT and the 328iT is darn near the same thing.

I really hope that I too can buy an E91 328iT. I also don't need the AWD anymore and would rather have a proper sports package with the 18" wheels that the 330i cars get. I would rather spend the extra money saved on a set of winter rims/tires and other options.
I would love a 330iT or 335iT, but realistically, I don't need it or want to pay for it. I will be ready to buy in about 1~1.5 years. |

Argghhh stressdoc, please say its not true!
Well, I guess its not all bad news....328iT with sports package and RWD would work for me (save some gas and save some money), but I would do ANYTHING to get the M3 Touring in the US. BMWNA if you're reading this....BRING THE M3 TOURING TO THE US!!!!!!! PLEASE, I BEG YOU!!!!! You know Mercedes has the E55 Wagon and Audi has the S4 Wagon.....put these guys into their place....please import the M3 Wagon! Anyway enough of the pleading....does anyone know when I can order the 328iT ? I want to be first on the list and give them my money! |

So, if any one has answers to these questions:
1.) Do the E90 and E91 share the same tail lights? Can I used the E90 blacklines on the E91? 2.) Do the E90 and E91 share the same exhaust system, cat back? 3.) Do the style 162 offset wheels fit onto the E91 RWD (not the AWD)? Any hints would be very helpful. BTW...and nice alternative would be the E46 M3 Sprt Wagon that Rogue Engineering built a few years back. Does anyone know where that car is today, can it be bought? Are there any others like it? For those of you not familiar.... Click Here to see the E46 M3 Sport Wagon |
