Have my fax from the dealer that I used to confirm my colors and options sitting on the desk in front of me! I have a production number as well. Think I'll be staring at that dogeared fax much over the next several weeks?-22

Just called my dealership and spoke to the general sales manager. He says that they are still waiting to hear from BMW in order to begin the ordering process. He says I will receive an email and be contacted the second they get the information to start ordering.

My dealer said the exact same thing. I guess some dealerships are getting their allocations faster than the others. Oh well. Nothing to do but still wait... |

I'm waiting for a few things. I'm waiting till I'm not upside down on my current car and by the time that happens I will have established some good credit-- which is what kept me out of an E90 3 series. Also, the prices will be long out by the time that happens and the 'hotness' of the car will subsided a bit and be in full production which means I won't get mega-reamed when I try to buy.
I'm really curious to hear of a 335Xi. I might just end up waiting for one of those. Because, I don't want an STI or Evo.

Actually waiting for the cabrio; hope to get one in the spring.
Do we expect discounts from MSRP? Or do we have to pony up full price for having the first one on the block? |

mine is written out on the purchase order, but not entered in the system or have a production number yet.
I'm a little torn though. On Sept. 23rd, I'll have been with BMW CCA for 1 year. I've owned BMW's 7 of the last 8 years, just never bothered to get my membership till september of last year. Well, after the 1 year mark, if you buy a bmw, you can get that $500.00 back for being a BMW CCA member. So, while I normally would expect my car in late August or 1st week in September since I'm first on the list here at my dealership, I might try to have them hold off on the actual allocation spot and production, so that way I pick up the car a month later, say in late September or early October, so I can get the $500.00 bucks back from BMW CCA. What do you guys think, worth waiting an extra month and getting the 500 bucks, or just say F it and get the car when Im supposed to? |

My order has been put into the BMW system but so far no production number yet. CA expects one soon.
Anyone know if this means that they didn't actually have an allocation spot yet or does this usually just take a bit of time to get a number?

I have a production number...I check dealerspeed every day hoping on updates. I am at status 112...waiting for daily production. It has all my options and color and stuff on the site. It said it should be completed by end of June-middle of July so I am stoked...

I have about an extra year since I want an E93 335i...but at least I'll be able to drive one when I get back and then decide if I want a coupe or more likely the vert.
50K sounds about right for the amount of money I'll spend on an E93. If not I can always downgrade to a coupe. |

Just went to my local dealership at Stevens Creek Blvd. The guy said with sports package it will cost me around 600-800 for me monthly for leasing. Just want to know if this deal is the right car for me since this will be my first BMW and I'm only 18 and always dream of driving a BMW. I have part time job and my parent are in 90k debt and loosing alot of money on stock investment. I am currently driving 06 BMW 330 XI (my uncle ride which i will be giving it back this July), Toyota 99 Corolla and 05 Lexus RX 330 (which waste alot of gas) and worry that this car will waste alot of gas too since in the near future the gas price will keep on going sky rocket. . Please let me know guys since I dont know if this car fit my lifestyle and my budget.

Anyways, you're still young and have many years to look forward to driving great cars in the future when you can better afford them.

As far as specfics for the lease that is a complicated question that has to deal with how much you are putting down, the residual, money factor etc..
