it is a laser when you get into one of those road rage situations!

it's a tow hook, push the top part of it and it pops out!

It's a towing point. REmove the coer and there is a threaded hole. You screw in an eye bolt and you can pull the car from this point.

If you look closely at the rear bumper there's another cover as well. The eye-bolt is part of the tool kit in the boot, re: page 213.
