Question for the Drag Racers...
I am ordering rear wheels/DRAG RADIALS for the strip. I have two options.
17" w/ 225/45/17 BF Goodrich 25" tall 17" w 245/45/17 Nittos 25.71" tall Before you answer consider the following: BF goodrich hooks MUCH better than the Nittos (I have both for other cars). BF's are a little shorter 25" vs 25.7" for the Nittos. Im not sure what gear w/steptronic you are in going through the traps but the shorter tire might be bad/good. I have not raced the car yet. Opinions? Jason car will be modded

Nittos.
If you chip the car, 225 prolly will not cut it

I agree, now that my computer has adapted to the new JB3, traction will definately be an issue,
So it looks likt 18" mickey thompson drag radials, or 16"-17" et streets, but then I really need to go with a bias ply up front if I go that route. It is an auto, so maybe I can get away with drag radials.

Well,
I am having a set of custom 16" rims made for the rear w/255/16 Mickey Thompson drag radials. These should do the trick with a nice fat sidewall. I am renting the dragstrip on Friday for my cars and hopefully these wheels will be ready in time to take the 135i over. Jason
