I think the 330xi would win. Yes the car weighs a little bit more but I think it could pull it off. Only one way to tell. Anybody?

ci might take this one based on weight and trans...I only test drove a 325i before i bought my xi, i was a little disappointed when i got the xi - signifigant pick up difference (felt sluggish), but unbelievable in the snow, which, for me anyway, is king...pick-up and smoothness has improved with mileage..
How much more does it weigh? I have heard 500 lbs... anyone know for sure?

Still planning on dropping with H&R springs. Still waiting on the springs. Got my CSL reps on though.

okay, weight is an issue, i agree... did the e46s weigh a lot less? but given similar power to the wheels, awd accelerates better than 2. what is it... 235 vs. 255 hp at the crank? so to the wheels, accounting for drivetrain loss on the xi is probably pretty similar. so if the xi was manual.. yeah it'd be pretty close, but i think with auto, plus the weight difference, the ci's going to win. hahaha... but of course that's just paper-racing... in the real world you gotta factor in driver, conditions, etc, etc.
