diesel drivers

Have you guys noticed any major difference in consumption / performance depending on where you fill up?

No.

I'd be very worried if I did.

I might give Shell V-Power a go - just out of curiosity. Will let you know if there's any startling difference.

I tried Shell V Power Diesel once (usually use Shell Regular - I've got a Shell Card so get 3% off).

I noticed no difference in performance or efficiency - and decided not to bother again.

What did you think?

A well timed post InquisitiveA, I've been driving around for the last 3 days with V Power. Def no difference in efficiency but to me it feels like there is less throttle / turbo lag. I had tried BP Ultimate a couple of weeks before and the car did seem to accelerate a little smoother with that as well.

Not sure if it is worth the difference in price however.

I noticed it slightly on my old car, but that was only 70bhp so probably a whole lot easier to feel any differences, in the new one haven't noticed, just fill up wherever I am when the light starts staying on.

I have tried the Total, BP and Shell trick diesels and I don't get anymore miles out of a tank than using their normal grade. It does feel a little better mid range I find.
