OH NO!!! Bubbles in my dash!!!
Well its been 100+ degrees here in Texas but I never though I would see this on a car that is only a few months old. Very dissappointed.

Disappointed indeed, at least it's under warranty. Perhaps Nav is relevant to this condition.

Ugh, not what I want to hear... I have to park my car outside at work where the sun beats down on it all day long. Texas heat sucks.
I would take it in. I had huge issues with bubbling on all of the VWs that we've had in the past. It's not pretty when that stuff starts peeling off. |

I got the two-piece collapsible sunshades available at Pep Boys ($6 or so) and try to use them whenever I can. Not a perfect fit (rear view mirror support gets in the way), but they seem to work well enough. Mine stays out in the open all day, and no dash issues so far.

Damn! sorry to see that... hope the dealer can fix this. I Also have to park outside during work hrs. SoCal sun is pretty bad too, I think I'm gonna get all my windows tinted including the front windshield. and Maybe a car cover to protect the paint (the car's body panels gets really hot as well, probably could fry an egg).

:biggrin:The dealership will say you had a tune on the car. The massive G forces caused by the tune caused your dash problem. Your warranty is now voided, to include the dash
I kid, I kid, I kid...... Good luck, let us know how the dealership treats you......

OK - they took it back to the shop so the Service Manager could take a look-see. 15 minutes later, they came back with a "I'm sorry" and "we will make it right". They are ordering the part (I dont have the details) and we will set up an appointment when the parts arrive.
