120d and 123d hatchbacks engine main differnece?
Hello guys,
I am from Taiwan and we only get 120i, 120d, and 130i all in hatchbacks no coupes. Anyway I was looking at the 120d and 123d what exactly is the difference? Bigger turbo? Can I easily mod the 120d with a chip to achieve the same performance as 123d? How is steptronic on the E87? Is it the same as E92 335i? unfortunately, we don't get sticks here and the resale value sucks also the traffic blows very badly. :iono: |

look up the Motorsport 120d Race Car. the parts its uses are readily available (after a bit of research) and it is the best track 1er hatch by a long mile!! there was also a great review of it in BMW Performance magazine not very long ago where it was better than the 130i track car. if there was no 135i that is what i would want!!

Just wondering but if you did a custom order/European delivery could you pick up a hatch or coupe in a region where they are not sold. I'm sure there are restrictions as far as dot is concernned but I doubt you would get pulled over In a bmw hatch in America or vice versa unlike the import scene.
