I had this fitted today. No pics yet, but it is *lovely*. Apart from the fact that the ashtray doesn't really work anymore - needs a very firm prod to open and close - so dealership has ordered another....

Alu trim with accent line anyone? (for sale, obviously!)

Ok ok

I finally got the old trim parts that the dealership tech damaged when changing them over replaced on Friday (for brand new bits still in the boxes

, so now I consider the job complete

If it isn't raining tomorrow I'll take some photos, and am now able to sell the original trim too - so I'll make sure all the bits are there and think about a price!

Very nice. It's too bad this is such an expensive (in my mind, anyway,) aftermarket option instead of a factory option.

Previously it was ali with accent line.

What did it cost... hmmm - yeah, I guess it is reltively expensive. Total, including 10% discount on the parts, was £736.34 including fitting, which was £229.44 ex VAT, making the parts £466.75 inc VAT.

I planned (and still plan!) to sell the original trims, so that can be taken off the cost. As BMW managed to damage most of them taking them off, those that aren't "as new" are "actually new", so hopefully I'll get a few quid for them... anyone want to make me an offer for a complete set of new / nearly new ali with accent line trims?

Thanks for the positive comments by the way - it really does look good in my opinion. With the lemon leather, the ali trim was just a little too bright and the CF really works well.
